Your AI already knows how your product works

TakeMe gives Lovable, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT and other coding agents an API for creating interactive tutorials directly inside your product.

How it works

When an AI agent builds a feature, it already knows:

  • which pages it created
  • which buttons and fields users interact with
  • what each element does
  • what order the workflow happens in

TakeMe lets the agent turn that knowledge directly into onboarding.Instead of building the feature first and documenting it later:

Build → Document → Guide

Connect TakeMe

Create an API key in TakeMe and give your coding agent the TakeMe authoring instructions.

Ask your agent to create a tutorial

For example: "Create a TakeMe tutorial that teaches a new user how to invite a teammate. Save it as a draft."

The agent sends TakeMe the pages, elements and instructions for each step.

TakeMe builds the walkthrough

TakeMe converts those instructions into an interactive tutorial running on your real application.

It highlights the correct element, tells the user what to do and waits for them to complete the action before continuing.

Review and publish

AI-created tutorials can start as drafts.

Review them in TakeMe, adjust anything you want and publish.

Once you trust the workflow, your agent can publish automatically.

TakeMe doesn't just rely on screenshots.

Built to keep working when your product changes

The agent provides the real UI element selector and its visible text. TakeMe uses both to find the element inside your live product.

If a selector changes during a redesign, the visible text can still help identify the correct element.

And if TakeMe isn't confident it has found the right element, it doesn't guess.

Built for your AI development workflow

Lovable

Build your application in Lovable, then ask it to create TakeMe tutorials for the features it just built.

Cursor

Give Cursor the TakeMe API instructions and create or update tutorials alongside your code.

Claude

Let Claude turn product workflows into interactive onboarding without manually recording them.

ChatGPT

Use TakeMe's authoring API from ChatGPT or coding agents capable of making API requests.

V0

Build your application in V0, then ask it to create TakeMe tutorials for the features it just built.

Local LLM

Give your Local LLM the TakeMe API instructions and create or update tutorials alongside your code.

Try it with your coding agent

"Read the TakeMe integration documentation and create onboarding tutorials for the main workflows in this application.
Save them as drafts for me to review."
